WAYS TO GIVE

Mustard Seed Community Health accepts various forms of financial gifts in addition to cash. Gifts of appreciated stocks, grants from Donor Advised Funds and Required Minimum Distribution from IRA's are a few ways that you can support Mustard Seed, all while reducing annual tax burdens.

• GIVING STOCK - Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have appreciated over time can be significantly more tax-efficient than giving cash. Mustard Seed accepts stock through Fidelity. • QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS (QCDs) - If you are 70 1/2 years old or older, you can give up to $100,000 per year from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as Mustard Seed, without having to treat the distribution as taxable income.

• PLANNED GIFTS - While estate planning, please consider including Mustard Seed in your estate through a gift from your will, designating Mustard Seed Community Health as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, establishing a Charitable Remainder Trust account, or designate us as your residual beneficiary.
